All in a day's life

Today is April 6th, 2009. I was home after school and have to take that needed break of holyweek. But instead of taking the breather, I was here in a small private clinic in our town taking care of my two and only nieces who are hospitalized. They've been in and out of the hospital for the past weeks and still not able to recover very well. I am really bored so I went out to take this internet break after my sister took our shifts of attending to their needs. I am really bored and the internet connection is very slow on this part of the town that adds to my boredom and frustration. My mind is not even working and I was just surfing to visit my blog, read other peoples' blog and went to these PTC and PTR sites.

Anyways, I guess I just have to write down what happend to me today. I took pictures of them (nieces) using my sister's camera phone (mine was so blurred) to capture the very candid side of these kids. They still seemed to be happy inspite of those apparatus being put on them. I misses being young and having those same fun. See, that's the thing about adults, you are expected to act and think mature when there are times when you just want to have that simple fun. After my "shift", I went to the nurses' station to ask for our account. She said she's still unable to get to it and she wasn't so nice at all. To make the long story short, I end having an argument with her.

I went to a net cafe to have a break, and boy, what I got was a bunch of young (and the not so young) guys who were screaming at each other out of those PC games. Boys will be boys.. But inspite of all the distractions, i was still able to finish this piece. Thanks to some friends who made my stay valuable for giving me those "juicy" gossip of some people we know.

Oh, I need to go back to the clinic and see the face of that @@@@@ girl again. (sigh) What a day!
