Rejection is the refusal from accepting something. It is not just a mere refusal but a deliberate one. It is a negative reaction and feeling both to the one who was rejected and the one who made it.
In a life of a human being, he experienced so many rejections. Some people may had it for a million times and others, who were lucky enough, had it a few times. But the fact remains that in our life, we were once rejected or atleast felt rejected.
Some people have different reactions towards it. Some accept it in a subtle and diplomatic way while others, well, in not so appropriate way. They have a hard time accepting it and sometimes goes for extreme measures. It’s funny how they vent out their feelings and how they make some excuses just to save their own faces.
Well maybe if your not used to it, it will be very painful. But rejection and other kinds of negative feelings are part of life. As they say, these are the spices that make life beautiful at the same time mysterious. It is just a matter of perspective by looking on to the brighter side. I know it’s a cliche already but hey, cliches are always proven to be effective.
Looking at the brighter side means taking every rejection as an opportunity to learn and do better (another cliche, lol!). Instead of blaming yourself and other people for any mistake, why not take it as a challenge and a chance to correct it. Afterall, mistakes and failures are great teachers.
And yes, life is never fair so it’s either you stick to it and accept that there will be times of ups and downs or you just have to live in the past and blame yourself and people around you. Growing up is an option, so choose!
